Hammonds CPA, PA: Founded in 2000 as Rita Hammonds CPA, the firm operated in Oviedo, Florida, under the leadership of Rita Hammonds. It served clients throughout Central Florida and developed a reputation for ethical, knowledgeable, and approachable service. Building strong client relationships, explaining complicated concepts in understandable terms, and providing honest and straightforward advice have remained central to the firm’s approach.

In 2018, Will Hammonds joined the practice and the firm became Hammonds & Associates CPAs. Over the following years, Will assumed increasing responsibility for the firm’s operations while Rita transitioned into a consulting role.

Following Rita’s retirement in 2025, Will assumed leadership of the practice and became its managing partner. The firm adopted its current name, Hammonds CPA, P.A.

Today, Hammonds CPA provides tax services to clients nationwide with a focus on the Florida and Colorado markets. With more than 25 years of experience, the firm continues to provide personalized accounting and tax services tailored to each client’s needs.

Will Hammonds, CPA, MSA: Will graduated summa cum laude from the University of Central Florida with both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in accounting. While in school, he completed internships with organizations including Lockheed Martin and the FBI, along with multiple busy seasons at public accounting firms. After earning his master’s degree, Will joined Deloitte & Touche LLP, where he was promoted to audit senior.

Will joined the practice in 2018 and brings a strong combination of technical expertise, operational efficiency, and client service. Over the following years, he assumed increasing responsibility for the firm’s operations and became managing partner following Rita Hammonds’ retirement in 2025.

Born and raised in Oviedo, Florida, Will moved to Denver with his wife in 2018. He regularly travels between Colorado and Florida to meet with clients and manage the practice.
