Rita Hammonds, CPA: A graduate of Florida Technical University (now University of Central Florida), Rita has operated in the Orlando market for over 40 years. Out of college, Rita went to work for a CPA firm in Winter Park where she quickly rose to partner. In 2000 she split off and formed Rita Hammonds CPA, PA. Operating out of Oviedo Florida for 19 years, Rita developed a reputation as an ethical, knowledgeable, and approachable CPA. She is known for building relationships with clients, breaking complicated concepts down to basic principles, and giving clients honest opinions. An active participant in numerous organizations around Oviedo, she became an integral resource to Oviedo’s small business owners. In 2018 Rita was joined by her son, Will Hammonds, and in 2020 Rita Hammonds CPA, PA was changed to Hammonds & Associates, CPAs. Rita splits her time between Oviedo and Blacksburg, Virginia.

Will Hammonds, CPA, MSA: Will graduated from the University of Central Florida Summa Cum Laude with both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in accounting. While in school, he completed various internships including Lockheed Martin, the FBI, and numerous busy seasons with public accounting firms. After graduating with his master’s degree, he accepted a position with Deloitte & Touche LLP where he was promoted to audit senior. Will joined the family business in 2018 and brings a great mix of technical skills, operational efficiency, and client service to the company. Born and raised in Oviedo, Will moved to Denver with his wife in 2018 and regularly travels between Colorado and Florida to meet with clients and visit family.
